More adventures in Babymaking

I haven't updated in a long while. I have been having too much fun!

I will start with Thanksgiving. We went to Braselton, Georgia for 3 days to visit Stacey's Aunt, Uncle and Cousin Davina. Davina is married with a sweet chubby boy and it was great to finally meet all three of them.

We left Georgia for Cancun, Mexico! It was so beautiful and relaxing. Our hotel was right on the beach and we could step off our balcony and jump into the pool! We had lots of fun adventures, including visiting Mayan ruins, an ecological park, swimming with dolphins and bike riding.
Our friend joined us for the last 5 days and we all had a blast!

Once we got home, we were in full swing with baby making. We decided to jump on the IVF train and haven't looked back. I get shots of Lupron and Gonal-F and I take Medrol at night.

The results of these pokings and proddings is that I have 15 follies ranging in size from 11mm to 15mm. I have another ultrasound on Friday and hopefully they will have grown to about 20mm, I think, which signals the time for ovulation. I would love to transfer asap, becuase I am off for one more week and the longer I can bedrest the better we would all feel.

So that is what I have been up to lately. We had a mild NYE, we saw the movie MILK, which was just awesome. While we were in Laughlin, Nevada, we saw Marley and Me, which was a really good movie but very sad at the end.

Happy New Year!

Good luck with the IVF -sounds like you are so close!
I am about to stop BCPs on Monday, wait for AF and then start the injections when they tell me.
My house and fridge is full of meds!
