Coming off the news that my thyroid is cancer free (which I am very thankful for), we headed into the TTC with high hopes. Wouldn't you know, I have a cyst on one ovary. This means I cannot have clomid. So we could possibly do a natural cycle, but the timing is really bad with the holiday, so we decided to cancel. I will start BCP to help reduce the cycst and hopefully be back in the game in the middle of September.
On a happy note, we had a fantastic vacation to Las Vegas. We went to the Hoover Dam, which was very cool (yet incredibly hot). We hung out at the pools at the Green Valley Ranch Casino and the South Point Casino. They were really nice pools, and we got to hang out with some of Staceys normal family, so that was really nice! Before coming home, we stopped at Harrah's Rincon Hotel and Casino out near Escondido to visit my parents and my nephew. They were vacationing for a few days there, so we had some buffet, and then headed home.
I am getting ready to start school. I went to my classroom today and started to get everything ready. I am almost ready for school to start. Almost.
Thats all folks.

Aw, I am sorry about the cyst. That happened to me the cycle before I got pg with Robbie. Sounds like a fun vacation. When does school start there? It starts here on the 3rd.
School starts September 3 here too!
Dammit. Sorry about the cyst. I'll sell you one of my kids ok??
Cristin, well they are very cute and funny. How much?
Jill, I am so sorry to hear that! But in a way it is good news because now we will both get pg at the same time! Let's hear it for June babies!
LeAnn,
June would be perfect! Lets get pg together. Like a high school pact, you know!
Jill
Ugh, cysts. But your vacation sounds like it was a blast!
My name is Holly Lem and i would like to show you my personal experience with Clomid.
I am 28 years old. I got preg first time on my own & miscarried. after a while of trying, my dr put me on clomid. after the first round i got pregnant & miscarried. i decided not to try or think about it at all probably for a 9 months... right around the time baby would be due & then started trying again. after a few months got back on clomid. after 5 months and no pregnancy i'm giving it a rest again. it's to much disappointment. i'm going to give it a try again soon, in the mean time we're keeping our fingers crossed for the old fashioned way to work.
I have experienced some of these side effects-
HOT FLASHES, moody, cry easily, weight gain, headaches etc!!
I hope this information will be useful to others,
Holly Lem
