6 Months!!

Actually, 6 months 1 week :)

The babies have been growing and hitting so many milestones. It is amazing, exciting and bittersweet all at the same time.

I think teething has begun. We have boatloads of drool, anything that can- is put in the mouth, and some cranky behavior.

Isabel has found her toes! They are a great playmate, and I think even her two best friends. It is too bad they have to get covered at night!

Jack is beginning to enjoy his solid foods. He does NOT like orange colored veggies, but doesn't seem to mind the green ones.

Both are laughing and smiling all the time. They find lots of things funny.

Isabel has become quite the good sleeper. She takes naps and at night she sleeps about 6 hours! Whoo HOO!

Jack does not. He sleeps about 2-3 at a time and ends up in bed with me around midnight. What can I say, he is a b00b man.

Work is going okay. I miss the babies like crazy and I hate leaving them in the morning. I wish I could stay home with them. If I had known I would feel like this, I would have saved money when I was just out of college! Crazy youth!

We are counting down the days to summer vacation. We have some exciting events planned, including a FIRST BIRTHDAY!! My school district is talking about closing the school 5 days early, which sounds freaking fantastic. However, the paycut in all one check is a little daunting.

My birthdays is fast approaching and I keep forgetting how old I will be. My mom asked what I wanted and you know what? I have these two beautiful babies and a loving wife. What else do I need?

Congratulations!! Your little ones are really growing up! That must be bittersweet!
You're right - you have just what you need - unless someone wanted to give you a boatload of cash so you could stay home with the babies.

I almost wrote that! Or a boatload of breastmilk so I could go out once in awhile without the babes.

They grow so fast don't they.

I have one that sleeps & one that comes in with us as well. You could set your clock to him.
